Chesterton planning chief moves to Donaldsons

Chesterton has lost another senior staff member to Donaldsons, the third to leave the company in just under one month.

Graeme Tulley, who was planning chief at Chesterton, moves to Donaldsons to lead its planning and compensation department. He was with Chesterton for just one year.

Tulley replaces Rod Dowle, who remains with Donaldsons as a full-time consultant.

The latest departure follows the defection of investment specialist Ian Sullivan and office agent Daniel Bourmad, both of Chesterton’s Manchester office, to Donaldsons last month.

Chestertons managing director, Tony McKay, said the company had not yet found a replacement for Tulley.

“We are extremely disappointed to have lost him. We spent almost 10 months attracting him to the company, but there are plenty of deputies who will maintain a strong performance until a replacement is found,” McKay said.

James Grierson, Head of Donaldsons Consulting, said: “We aim to invest in significant growth for our planning team and we see Tulleys appointment as a key part of that.”

Chesterton recently announced pre-tax losses of £6.5m.
