Channel 4 is scouring the country for a community that wants programme makers to regenerate the entire town.
The idea is to take makeover programmes such as Changing Rooms and Ground Force to their logical extreme.
It is assembling a team of architects and designers while it looks for a local council or government body that is prepared to come up with most of the funding.
