Leeds has had £5bn invested in or earmarked for major property schemes over the past 10 years, according to The Business‘s special supplement on the Yorkshire city.
Over £1bn has been spent, £400m is being built and £1.4bn is in the pipeline in the city centre alone.
However, Leeds’ inner city area is still the eighth most deprived in the country.
