Northern law firm Cobbetts has unleashed a 70,000 sq ft (6,500 sq m) office requirement on Manchesters city centre.
Cobbetts, which is based at Ship Canal House in King Street, is looking to relocate to larger premises to accommodate more staff.
According to industry sources, Cobbetts has begun negotiations with developers and landlords and wants to move offices at the beginning of next year.
Allied Londons 2.6m sq ft (241,540 sq m) Spinningfields development in Deansgate has been tipped as a potential destination for the firm.
DTZ Debenham Tie Leung has been appointed to deal with the requirement.
