John Bodie, the former senior partner of surveyor DE & J Levy, was awarded an OBE for his charitable work in the Queen’s Birthday Honours at the weekend.
Bodie joined DE & J Levy in 1948 and was senior partner from 1973 until 1999.
He still works for the firm as a consultant.
