The new Radisson SAS hotel at Stansted airport has been granted planning permission.
BAA Lynton and Rezidor SAS are to develop a £40m, four-star hotel that will provide 500 rooms over a total of 290,000 sq ft (26,941 sq m).
Aukett Europe is architect.
BAA Lynton also received permission for a 146,200 sq ft hotel providing 340 rooms at Hatton Cross, Heathrow, this week.
The hotel, which will include restaurants, bars, a gym and retail, will be marketed by Insignia Hotels.
