Telephone directory enquiries specialist Infonxx is looking to Cardiff as a launchpad for a UK business ahead of the governments opening up of the 192 directory enquiry market in October.
The firm has unleashed a 25,000 sq ft (2,322 sq m) call centre requirement on the Welsh capital.
Two office sites are tipped as runners – the Global Link Building at Celtic Gateway, Cardiff Bay, and Sterling House at Cardiff Gate Business Park, Pontprennau – which was built for Julian Hodge Bank but never occupied.
Meanwhile, financial services giant Zurich, which is being advised by Cooke & Arkwright, continues to mull over a location for its 50,000 sq ft (4,645 sq m) requirement in the Welsh capital.
