The Rugby Football Union (RFU) has failed in its bid to hold concerts at its famous Twickenham stadium.
The RFU had challenged a High Court decision refusing a certificate of lawfulness of proposed use in relation to use of the stadium as a public concert hall.
However, dismissing the appeal, Schiemann LJ said that it was clear that proper activities on the site did not include use as a concert hall. He said that the High Court judge had been entitled to find as he did.
