Regent Inns takes space at Leeds city centre scheme

Regent Inns has taken 16,000 sq ft (1,486 sq m) for its Bar Risa/Jongleurs format at Morley Fund Management’s mixed-use scheme, The Cube, in Leeds city centre.

Regent is paying £22 per sq ft (£240 per sq m) for the space, which fronts Albion Street and George Street.

The Cube comprises 56,428 sq ft (5,243 sq m) of offices and 22,000 sq ft (2,043 sq m) of ground-floor leisure beneath Persimmon’s K2, a 22-storey tower with 84 flats.

It is a redevelopment of the former Dudley House office building.

The Hard Rock Café is tipped to take The Cube’s remaining leisure unit.

With Tiger Tiger having taken space at the adjacent The Light scheme, this part of the city centre is being touted as Leeds’ new entertainment district.

Knight Frank and Weatherall Green & Smith are joint letting agents on the scheme.
