Roy Disney, nephew of Walt and vice-chairman of the Walt Disney company, is preparing his first UK property deal.
Walt Disney’s largest shareholder, with 17m shares, is thought to be close to agreeing terms on an investment in London through his private investment company Shamrock Holdings.
Shamrock, controlled by Roy Disney’s adviser Stanley Gold, invests around the world, particularly in Israel. Now it has turned its attention toward the UK.
The first deal could be to forward fund a leisure scheme.
