John Mills is to stand down as chairman and board director of retail surveyor Leslie Furness in the new year.
Mills, who has been with the company for 40 years, will take on a consultancy role at the practice from 1 January 2003.
He will continue to be involved in various large retail developments including Land Securities annd Centros Miller’s £100m Fremlin Walk shopping centre in Maidstone, Taylor Woodrow and Centros Miller’s redevelopment of the Northern Quarter in Portsmouth, Land Securities’ Coppergate/Riverside scheme in York and its Whitefriars centre in Canterbury.
