South West Regional Development Agency (SWRDA) has won planning permission for two 20,000 sq ft (1,858 sq m) factory units at St Columb Major, Cornwall.
The £2.75m development at the Trekenning Business Park is subject to a grant application to the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Objective One European funding programme.
Robert McGuffie, SWRDA’s regeneration manager in Cornwall, said: “We’re delighted that Restormel council has granted planning approval for these new industrial units.
”There is strong demand for high-quality workspace in Cornwall and we’re confident of letting these units either to local companies looking to expand or to inward investors.”
Earlier this year, the regional development agency, with support from Objective One, built a 50,000 sq ft (4,645 sq m) unit on the same site that was let to books, music and video retailer Borders (UK).
