Budget Greeting Cards has bought an 88,000 sq ft (8,175 sq m) industrial warehouse at Coltham Developments’ 8.5-acre Ringway Business Park in central Birmingham.
Budget paid £5.6m for the building, just off the Aston Expressway, to which it will relocate from its nearby premises at Nechells.
Birmingham-based Coltham is poised to complete work on the Ringway Business Park’s two 25,000 sq ft outstanding industrial units, which it is marketing for sale or on flexible leases of five years or more.
Rochdale-based Budget – which produces cards, stationery and toys – also has warehouses in Birmingham, Bradford, Belfast, Dublin, Gateshead and Manchester.
