Three deals generate £110m of retail warehouse investment

The retail warehouse sector saw a further £110m of investment this week in three separate deals.

Hercules Unit Trust added the 55,000 sq ft (5,100 sq m) Oxford Retail park to its Chartwell assets in a £28.55m deal with Credit Suisse property investment management.

The deal, which included the Chiltern Business centre, Cowley, reflected a net initial yield of 4.6%.

Morley has also bought ISISs Triangle retail park in Beckton, east London, for £63m on a 4% initial yield.

The park is adjacent to the Gateway retail park included in Morleys deal with Chartwell.

Meanwhile, British Land has paid £18m for the 130,000 sq ft (12,000 sq m) Cuckoo Bridge retail park in Dumfries.
