The Federation of Small Businesses has warned that tradesman will leave the centre of London once the £5 congestion charge takes hold.
It said this could lead to London gradually becoming an economic wasteland.
The Association of British Drivers is putting pressure on those supporting the toll and calling on motorists to boycott any company that profits from the scheme.
