The Waei Inn at Zeal Monachorum in Devon was the location for the sale of Butts Park Farm by auctioneers Thorne & Carter on June 9. Located on the outskirts of the village of Zeal Monachorum, the property was split into three lots.
A 37.5-acre lot of pasture and arable land sold for £93,000 to a local farmer. A 6-acre field with outline planning consent for the erection of an agriculturally tied dwelling raised £51,000.
The third lot — a two-storey 7,000-sq ft poultry-rearing house and a 3,300-sq ft steel-frame building — was withdrawn.
