Prudential Holborn Life have acquired the headleasehold interest in Fearnley Developments’ 24,000-sq ft first phase of the £15m Waterfront 2000 office scheme at Salford Quays, Salford, Greater Manchester.
The Pru have paid over £2m for the property, which has a total income of £156,000 pa. The tenants are Nixdorf Computers, Computacentre and National Telephones (UK).
Waterfront 2000 is being built in six phases and will provide a total of 160,000 sq ft of hi-tech two- and three-storey office buildings.
Guest Shaw and Grimley J R Eve are letting agents and acted for the developers in the sale, while Prudential Portfolio Managers acted for the purchasers.
