British Airways Pension Fund have paid £6m for a new B&Q store on a 3-acre site at Chiswick Roundabout, Chiswick, London W4.
B&Q are to take a new lease on the 49,500-sq ft unit, which fronts the North Circular Road and Great West Road, at a rent of £8.75 per sq ft. The investment reflects a yield of 7%.
British Airways, who financed the scheme and who are looking to increase the percentage of retail property in their portfolio, were represented by Healey & Baker, while Myers Larkey acted for B&Q.
