Bride Hall have funded their £35m development at Cambridge Science Park with Equitable Life. The developers have purchased a long lease on 8 acres and have obtained planning permission for 160,000 sq ft of development in five buildings in a scheme designed by McColl.
Marconi have taken a prelet on 25,000 sq ft of the 80,000-sq ft first phase, which will contain three buildings and is already under construction. Jones Lang Wootton acted for the fund, while Morgan Grenfell Laurie advised Bride Hall. The vendors were represented by Norman Rourke & Partners, while Bidwells advised Trinity College, the freeholders of the science park.
