Leeds-based Arncliffe Holdings has more than trebled its full year pre-tax profits, from £252,000 to £872,000, and chairman Isadore Fisch has announced a 2p final dividend making a 3.17p total for the year.
Mr Fisch, who completes his first full year as chairman after the late Manny Cussins, who was also the chairman of Leeds United football club and Waring & Gillow, says that the company is extending its activities and geographic coverage.
Originally a housebuilder in the Yorkshire area, it has become more involved in commercial development and trading and has extended its housebuilding activities to the South West.
The company’s turnover has increased from £6.5m to £7.3m in the year to October 31.
Defending a bid from Govett Strategic Investment Trust during the year cost £65,000.
