Aztec West sparks

Electricity Supply Nominees’ Aztec West Business Park in Bristol has attracted more tenants. The South Western Electricity Board have bought a 4 1/2-acre site for their new 60,000-sq ft headquarters.

Meanwhile, Inmos, a subsidiary of Thorn EMI, have taken 29,000 sq ft of space at Aztec West 1000. Inmos, advised by J P Sturge & Sons, will be taking a further 8,000 sq ft.

They have also taken a five-year option to buy the long leasehold on a 6-acre site next to their new offices.

ESN, through their agents Richard Ellis and Lalonde Bros & Parham, are being coy about prices and rents achieved on the latest two deals and were unwilling to come up with any figures.

Now work is due to start on the next 44,000-sq ft office phase.
