Richard Ellis are to join Weatherall Green & Smith on the marketing of Legal & General’s 200,000-sq ft Berkeley Square scheme, Lansdowne House.
Peter Simm of L&G says that the marketing is due to start next year and remarked that the appointment is “a response to the fact that we have an international building of very great standing.
“Weatherall Green & Smith have had a very significant role in the project design and the original conception of the scheme”.
The £30m development on 10 levels, which was topped out last month, is due to be completed next year. L&G are believed to have already turned down offers of £30 per sq ft, and it is thought they will go for rents of over £35 per sq ft.
