Chelsea landmark sold for £7m

Crest Nicholson have sold The Pheasantry in King’s Road, Chelsea, London SW3, to Provident Mutual for over £7m.

The original 18th-century building has long been a Chelsea landmark and was redeveloped in the 1980s by C H Pearce & Sons into a complex of five shop units, 23,000 sq ft of offices and a restaurant, all arranged around a central courtyard.

The Pheasantry passed into the Crest Nicholson portfolio when they merged with C H Pearce in 1985.

Agents for the sale were Savills and Healey & Baker, while Gooch & Wagstaff acted for Provident Mutual.
