Dover Harbour Board is planning to start work on a £100m mixed scheme to regenerate the Western Docks next year. A partner will be selected this autumn and adviser Debenham Tewson & Chinnocks reports approaches from European, American and British developers.
A £25m first phase of offices and shops at Northampton Quay will lead the project with a 150-bedroom hotel at Wellington Dock. More commercial development could follow in 1995 with the reclamation of Granville Dock.
