Scottish Power subsidiary Teledata is taking all of Taylor Woodrow’s 2,891m2 (31,120 sq ft) No 2 Cadogan Square in Glasgow for a new call centre. Teledata will pay £107 per m2 (£10 per sq ft) for a 10-year lease with a break at year five. The new office building, completed in January, is part of a project to redevelop the former Anderston Centre, a 1970s office and retail centre, better known as a red-light area. Taylor Woodrow hopes to transform the district into Glasgow’s premier business centre by redeveloping its 3.54ha (8.75 acre) holding. Work on a 9,959m2 (107,200 sq ft) office centre will start later this year. DTZ Debenham Thorpe and Jones Lang Wootton represented Taylor Woodrow. Speirs Gumley acted for Teledata.
