American finance company Avco Trust is moving to a headquarters building at Akeler Developments’ Doxford International Business Park, Sunderland.
It is paying (£130 per m2) £12.10 per sq ft for the 2,889m2 (31,300 sq ft) building on a 15-year lease with five yearly upward reviews.
Akeler chief executive Mark Glatman said: “It underlinesÉthe high quality of the development and the Sunderland workforce.”
Akeler will complete Avco’s building by May 1998.
