DTZ Debenham Thorpe has won a five-year contract, worth around £2.5m, to supply property services to Yorkshire Water and its subsidiaries.
Competitors for the tender included Weatherall Green & Smith, King Sturge and Jones Lang Wootton.
Under the contract, DTZ Debenham Thorpe will assist in planning and delivering Yorkshire Water’s ongoing capital programme, worth £400m pa. Seventeen water company staff will transfer to DTZ’s Leeds office.
The water company owns 27,000ha (67,000 acres) of land and property, including operational sites, commercial properties and housing.
