Wilson Connolly scores Norwich City flats deal

Norwich City Football Club has been given the go-ahead for a stadium redevelopment that will include 330 riverside flats developed by Wilson Connolly.

The flats will be developed on part of the club’s car park, which will be sold to housebuilder Wilson Connolly for £6m.

Norwich FC plans to spend £8m on a 9,500-seat south stand that will increase its Carrow Road stadium’s capacity to 25,500 seats.

The club will develop car-parking space on a 6.25-acre (2.5ha) site bought from Laurence Scott and Electromotors.

Collins Commercial, Carpenter Planning Consultants and RHWL Architects advised the club.
