Raglan seals full occupancy at Cardiff offices with law firm signing

Raglan Properties has signed South Wales law firm Hugh James for 45,000 sq ft (4,181 sq m) at Hodge House, Cardiff.

The solicitor, which will move out of Arlbee House in the city centre, has taken a 15-year lease at £12.50 per sq ft (£129 per sq m) with a break in 2014.

Hugh James has been scouring the Welsh capital for space for more than 18 months and had been in talks about a new lease with Arlbee House owner Catalyst Capital.

The deal completes occupation of the recently refurbished 90,419 sq ft (8,400 sq m) Hodge House in St Mary Street.

The solicitor joins Irish telecoms company Conduit as occupier.

Hugh James was advised by Cooke & Arkwright.

King Sturge and Fletcher Morgan represented Raglan Properties.
