Mr Kim Lewison QC, property law specialist and joint head of Falcon Chambers, has been appointed to the bench of the Chancery Division.
At the bar, Lewison specialised in landlord and tenant, agricultural, commercial and residential property, conveyancing, and other property orientated cases.
In 1993, he became an assistant recorder, in 1997 a recorder, and he has sat as a deputy High Court judge since 2000. He has also been chairman of the Property Bar Association and chairman of the Anglo-American Real Property Institute.
In his new role as Lewison J, he has already been earmarked for cases within the complex field of property disputes.
