Weblogs are the latest big thing to hit the internet. These web pages, which are simply pages of news and comment posted in short snippets – with the most recent at the top – have been around since the mid-1990s, but have reached the mass market only in the past few years.
The most famous blog is InstaPundit at http://www.instapundit.com/.Its author, Glen Reynolds, has become a respected US political commentator.
The first sites specialising in property and real estate are beginning to emerge. Tony Gill, a real estate continuity adviser across the Atlantic, has started his own weblog which posts new thoughts and stories about the topic on a regular basis.
Recent posts cover the change in attitude of Canadian companies to their property strategies and the movement of tenants around Manhattan. It can only be a matter of time before the first similar UK property blogger appears.
