Orion House, the largest asset still identified for sale by Haslemere, has failed to sell for a third time. This week New York-based Greek shipping tycoon Achilleas Kallakis’s offshore Pacific Group withdrew from a £56m deal for the 90,000 sq ft building on Upper St Martin’s Lane, WC2. A source said Kallakis, who through his agents Insignia Richard Ellis and Makins Moore is seeking investments in London, “was forced to walk away due to a series of problems he discovered”. Haslemere denied any problems with the building and said DTZ would bring the building back to the market.
