Base2 is taken off the market
Base2 in Bethnal Green, E2, one of the largest residential developments in east London, has been taken off the market. Copthorn stopped selling the first phase of the 316-unit scheme, which was launched four months ago. The developer said the decision was prompted by delays to the section 106 agreement. Although Copthorn had planned to start work on the 1.7-acre former Mile End Goods Yard North site in March, and had received deposits from only 12 of the units of the first phase, it will not be able to start selling the units again until November at the earliest.
