CB Richard Ellis faces mounting pressure over sex discrimination claims in the US with six women now taking legal action against the firm.
Five women have come forward to join former CBRE marketing director Amy Wiginton, who worked in the Chicago office and was granted permission to bring her action for ‘pervasive’ sexual harassment and discrimination in May this year.
CBRE chief executive Ray Wirta was not available to comment, but denied the claims in May this year. The company could not comment on ongoing legal proceedings, he said. ‘But we don’t agree with any of the allegations made in the lawsuit.’
