The UK arm of Allianz has sold the Merchant Investors Bristol-based life office to Sanlam.
Allianz said the sale of the life office continues the company’s strategy of focusing on the UK property and casualty market where it is represented by Allianz Cornhill Insurance.
The sale price is thought to be less than £50m.
