German state prosecutors probing WestLB’s financing of BoxClever, the UK television rental company, are to include Robin Saunders in the investigation, the Financial Times writes.
The Dusseldorf state prosecutor’s office will investigate whether Saunders, the former head of the German bank’s London-based principal finance unit, and up to 11 other current and former WestLB managers should answer to allegations related to breaches of trust.
The BoxClever deal was arranged by Ms Saunders’ unit in 1999.
