Department store Elys has appointed consultant JHP to draw up a masterplan for the redesign of its flagship store in Wimbledon, London SW19.
Over the next two to three years the consultant and Elys will focus on “enhancing the store experience and brand proposition” of the four-storey, 85,000 sq ft (7,896 sq m) building.
The first phase of the project will redesign 20,000 sq ft (2,000 sq m) at the store, updating the mix of brands.
Work is scheduled to begin in autumn 2005.
Elys chairman Bernard Dreesmann said: “We are delighted to be working with JHP as we feel they share our vision and enthusiasm to create a unique lifestyle shopping experience for the aspirational Wimbledon shopper.”
