Berkeley Square Estate broker dropped

One of the founders of the company that manages the £1bn Berkeley Square estate has been dropped.

Samir Hakoura introduced property management agent Saxon Law to the bank of the secretive Middle Eastern buyers of the estate in 2001.

Hakoura and Andrew Lax, co-founder of Saxon Law, later established Lancer Asset Management to asset manage the estate.

However, Estates Gazette has revealed that Lax and John Kevill, who runs Lancer Asset Management on a daily basis, have set up a new firm, Lancer Property Asset Management, to manage the estate.
