The Giraffe restaurant chain hopes to double the size of the business to 16 sites over the new few years.
It has seven restaurants in London and next week opens an eighth in Muswell Hill.
It has secured an estimated £2m from Luke Johnson, chairman of Signature Restaurants, to help expand to locations such as Brighton and St Albans.
