JLL announces death of hotels CEO Nick Marsh

Nick Marsh, CEO Europe of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) Hotels, has died of cancer at the age of 40.

The global chief executive of JLL Hotels, Arthur de Haast, said: “Nick has made an immeasurable contribution to establishing JLL Hotels as the pre-eminent global hotel advisory group.

“His steely determination, balanced by an enduring sense of fairness, always delivered in a highly considerate yet powerful manner, will mean he will be greatly missed by all who knew and worked with him.”

Marsh, who leaves a wife and two children, joined JLL as a graduate in 1988.

Arthur de Haast will assume the role of CEO Europe on an interim basis, in addition to his role as global CEO for the hotels business.
