Marks & Spencer (M&S) is considering closing its only remaining Lifestore, in Kingston-upon-Thames.
The company will update plans when it report its interims on November 9. The outlet could be turned into a food store.
M&S is looking to follow in the footsteps of Next by developing out-of-town stores.
It would like about 50 out-of-town sites depending on its ability to get the right stores at the right price.
