Whitbread is expected to confirm next month plans to sell at least £200m-£500m of four-star Marriott assets.
It is also hoping to announce the sale of its three-star Courtyard by Marriott chain for about £80m as part of a strategic review.
There had been speculation Whitbread might sell its high-street restaurant business but insiders do not believe it will do so.
