The property developer son of one of Chancellor Brown’s aides has been warned by police over threatening late-night phone calls.
Mark Lloyd Fox, whose mother is Labour MP Ann Keen, the chancellor’s Commons private secretary, has been given a formal police reprimand for making “harassing” calls to local councillors.
He left the Labour politicians a series of anonymous “silent or threatening” messages after they turned down his planning application to redevelop an old people’s club in his mother’s North London constituency.
