New York, Boston, San Francisco and Washington are the favourite cities of foreign property investors in the US according to a recent survey carried out by the association of foreign investors in real estate (Afire).
The association members, which together have invested $45bn in the US market, overwhelmingly voted for New York as their top location, followed by San Francisco. Last year, Chicago also featured in the top rankings.
David Agnew, chairman of Afire, believes that the survey clearly shows how investors are looking for a 24 hour city.
