Palmer Capital Partners, a niche venture capital outfit, has invested £10m in Danescroft Commercial Developments.
Danescroft, run by former Canary Wharf development executive David Civil, specialises in City fringe schemes.
The company has built commercial and residential developments worth £8m since Civil set it up two years ago.
Civil said that PCP’s investment would allow Danescroft to develop more ambitious schemes.
Danescroft’s developments include a £3.5m office and residential scheme located at Christina Street, EC2, and a £1m refurbishment at Goswell Road, EC1.
