Irvine Sellar’s £85m redevelopment of Warrington’s town centre has been given the green light by the council.
The 335,000 sq ft (31,120m2) shopping mall at Time Square, which is being developed by Sellar Property Group, will include a 100,000 sq ft (9,290m2) department store and 23 shops, each providing up to 14,000 sq ft (1,300m2).
Plans for the scheme include the refurbishment of the present market hall into 40,000 sq ft (3,715m2) of space.
Irvine Sellar said: “The centre will virtually double the amount of quality retail space in the centre of Warrington and satisfy the known demand from fashion-led retailers.”
