Kingfisher is on the lookout for a high-profile City figure to chair its electricals business which it is planning to demerge in the spring.
The business includes Comet in the UK, but is dominated by market-leading French business Darty. It is also likely to include BUT, the French electricals and furniture chain.
The group therefore needs a London-based chairman who could lead the process of communicating with investors.
