A dispute between property developer Ian Hilton and Blackpool solicitor Barker Booth & Eastwood (BBE) has moved to the House of Lords.
In May 2002, Hilton failed in his Appeal Court challenge to Preston County Court’s dismissal of his damages claim for professional negligence.
He is now seeking to challenge the Appeal Court decision in the House of Lords, but his application is on hold to give BBE an opportunity to prepare its objections.
