A major new version of the NLIS Searchflow software has been released this week.
The new software (version 2.2) was launched on 2 September 2002. Version 2.2 offers a “pause and resume” function to provide NLIS Seachflow users with increased flexibility.
Users are now able to place search requests at a time that suits them, and then simply “pause” the system. They can then return later and “resume” work from the same point.
This new feature allows for unforeseen interruptions, and enables users to obtain authorisation before finalising search requests.
Existing users will not require any additional software, and the new facilities should be automatically available for all log-ons after 2 September.
