Searchflow wins innovation award

The top prize for innovation in IT in a legal setting has been awarded to NLIS Searchflow.

The prestigious Society for Computers and Law award 2002 was presented to Searchflow last week by the Attorney-General.

Searchflow is a licensed provider of the National Land Information Service (NLIS). Registered Searchflow users are able to search NLIS land and property resources, including all local authorities, HM Land Registry, and the Coal Authority.

Mark Riddick, CEO of NLIS Searchflow, said: “I am delighted to receive this award in recognition of our solutions to the difficulties faced by e-conyeancing. Since its conception three years ago, Searchflow has been putting in place processes to transform conveyancing from a time-consuming, uncertain and frustrating process into one that is fast and efficient.”

Searchflow is the first NLIS channel licence holder to win this award. Previous winners include Land Registry Direct and the NLIS Bristol Pilot.
